For 120 years now the Gladney Center for Adoption has been building families. With over 28,000 combined domestic and international placements, Gladney has helped shape the stories of thousands of families while helping make our world and nation a better place as a result. Gladney and Gladney families are very proud of our humanitarian aid projects. We believe humanitarian aid projects illustrate the philosophies, care and concern the organization, its adoptive families and staff feel for the children who may never receive the gift of family.

Gladney's rapidly expanding humanitarian aid efforts focus on underserved children in the US and around the world. Gladney places hundreds of children in permanent homes each year, but thousands more remain in US foster care or in orphanages around the world. Sadly, the older children get, the less likely they are to be adopted. Our humanitarian aid efforts reflect the desire to balance our mission of creating families through adoption and our mission of improving the lives of those children who will never be adopted.
